Dr David Godfrey is a lecturer in education, leadership and management at UCL Institute of Education where he is co-director of the Centre for Educational Evaluation and Accountability and programme leader for the MA Leadership. An advocate of research informed practice in education, his projects include research-engaged schools, school peer review, inspection systems, and lesson study. Most recently, he has published work on evidence-informed practice and the state of England’s research and development ecosystem. Recent publications include: Godfrey, D., & Brown, C. (2018).
