Mihiri leads the Deprivation Analysis and Research Team at the Department for Education, covering a range of disadvantage-focused policy areas including the Pupil Premium and School Food. She has previously worked as a policy advisor and economist across various policy areas and government departments, including Early Years spending at HM Treasury and the What Works initiative at the Cabinet Office. Mihiri is passionate about using research and analysis to help make education and children’s services more impactful, inclusive and sustainable. In her spare time, she volunteers as a Sponsor Governor at a Primary School in South London.
