Sean Hayes

Head of Performance and Data - Children's Services,
Hounslow Council

Sean is Head of Performance & Data in Hounslow Council Children’s Services, having also worked in several London LAs.  A main educational interest is providing high quality performance analysis to schools. He has been writing and presenting educational research papers for 20 years. His research interests are in the school improvement area, focusing on the intersection of social class, race and gender.  He sits on the British Educational Research Association (BERA) Executive Council and his research work was recently acknowledged when he was made an Honorary Norham Fellow of the Education Department of the University of Oxford. He is a secondary school governor.
